Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE), the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center, and Columbia Entrepreneurship are thrilled to host PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel at Columbia University on September 17th!
Hailed as one of the most successful investors in the world, Thiel was the first outside investor in Facebook, and currently serves as President of Clarium Capital, a global macro hedge fund. Thiel has funded hundreds of other early stage companies including LinkedIn, Yelp, Spotify, and SpaceX. He is also founder of the prestigious Thiel Fellowship.
Thiel will discuss his new book, Zero to One. The talk will be followed by a book signing and reception. Tickets are $10, but if you are a current Columbia student, you may enter a drawing for one of 50 free tickets. Deadline to submit for the drawing is Friday, September 12th.
